“As an educator who lives in the Tongva lands of southern California, Sonja has hiked and backpacked the mountains above Los Angeles for over ten years. She has also walked in Central America, Europe, and Asia as an international traveler. 

However, as a Nordic person, Sonja burns quickly. Her lifelong search for the best sun hats led her to this article, where she found a few favorites that she puts in rotation with her 50 SPF sunscreen.”
